According to ShibDaily, Shiba Inu (SHIB) has experienced a significant increase in network activity, with a notable surge in new wallet creation. On a recent Sunday, over 7,500 new wallets were established, marking a 214% rise compared to the token's average daily growth of approximately 2,400 wallets. This surge indicates a growing interest in SHIB's expanding ecosystem and has generated positive sentiment among investors and analysts.
Historically, Shiba Inu has maintained a steady but modest daily growth rate in wallet creation. However, the recent spike in activity suggests a wave of new participants entering the ecosystem. This growth surpasses previous trends, such as in January 2023, when SHIB's wallet growth continued despite market volatility. Data from CoinMarketCap showed that the total number of unique Shiba Inu addresses reached a record high of 1,136,080 by January 13, 2022, up from 1,063,858 holders on December 15, 2021. This represented an increase of 72,222 new holders over the previous month, averaging around 2,407 new wallets per day.
