**Crypto Founder Stani Kulechov's Health Scare Sparks Industry Wake-Up Call**

In the high-octane world of cryptocurrency, long hours are the norm. AAVE founder Stani Kulechov recently shared a cautionary tale about the dangers of overworking. After years of 12-hour days, Kulechov underwent surgery on July 27 to remove his gallbladder, which was severely damaged by a neglected gallstone.

Kulechov first felt pain years ago but ignored medical advice due to his busy schedule. The situation escalated, leading to a midnight ambulance call in 2019 and, eventually, emergency surgery.

Kulechov now urges fellow crypto founders to prioritize their health, warning that sacrificing well-being for productivity is unsustainable. "Success is measured in longevity, and for that, you need health," he emphasized.
