In the first half of 2024, IOST continued to drive upgrades to its mainnet and optimize TPS to enhance DApp compatibility. It’s also aggressively expanding its global market presence, accelerating strategic initiatives across diverse sectors such as infrastructure, cross-chain ecosystems, IoT, AI, DeFi, NFTs, GameFi, Web3, RWA, and STOs.
In addition to expanding its teams in Hong Kong, Vietnam, Turkey, and Dubai, IOST plans to increase brand visibility in Southeast Asia, East Asia, North America, and Europe. This effort aims to attract high-quality partnerships with VCs, KOLs, and node partners worldwide, ensuring continuous progress, breakthroughs, and advancements across the entire IOST ecosystem.

This latest version of the mainnet is a compatibility upgrade. It includes several enhancements, such as adding the BalanceString field to the RPC API GetAccount to ensure precise output accuracy. Additionally, Protobuf and Grpc have been upgraded to their latest versions. The mainnet also includes updates to the latest snapshot, among other improvements.
