Bitcoin Back in The Channel And About To Fill CME Gap — Altcoins Remain Strong(er) After Bitcoin was heavily rejected at the 70k level, it was sent back into the bull flag channel. Moreover, as mentioned yesterday in another post, there's a CME gap at 66k Bitcoin that needs to be touched before moving higher. Currently, Bitcoin trades at 66.6k. Overall, it is okay to have a rejection at the 70k level, although I would have preferred the price to stay above the bull flag trendline. Altcoins, on the other hand, performed extraordinarily well compared to Bitcoin. This was probably the most surprising aspect yesterday. Despite Bitcoin's rejection, many altcoins were up 3%, 5%, or even more. Moreover, the picture today looks identical. While BTC is slightly down, we have many altcoins up 1%, 3%, or 5%. However, since Bitcoin made another local dominance high it is healthy and important for alts to catch up. Bitcoin About To Fill CME Gap Before Moving Higher? Although this isn't a must, Bitcoin often fills the CME gap before continuing its path. Therefore, I wouldn't be surprised to see another small dip toward the 66k level before initiating a strong pump. However, it is important to mention that the CME gap isn't always filled. I just want to highlight the probability since such a move isn't unusual for BTC. $BTC #bitcoin☀️

Bitcoin Rejected At 70k — Altcoins Holding Strong! A couple of days ago, I posted the chart below, discussing my view that Bitcoin had reached its dominance peak in April and would not go higher. Recent developments have shown that I was wrong about this expectation. Bitcoin soared to a dominance of almost 57% and closed at that level. Therefore, the chart below was invalidated at this time. However, today provided some interesting insights. Although Bitcoin was massively rejected at 70k and was down almost 5% from today's top, many altcoins didn't follow. Conversely, many altcoins are still in the green and jumped 5% or more. Even Ethereum (so far) has been able to hold above the 3.3k level. Probably nothing. Or probably a first sign that altcoins will finally leave their bottom regarding their Bitcoin pairs. The next days will tell. $BTC

TROY — Not Ready For A Long, Yet! As requested, I had a quick look at the TROY chart. Regarding trading (4H and 1D chart), I don't consider TROY a candidate. Here's why: 1️⃣ TROY trades at its all-time lowest level. On the upside, we have two resistance lines (1) 2️⃣ Moreover, TROY trades below the EMA200 (2) — an indicator widely used to determine the trade direction. Since the price below the EMA200 signals a bearish trend, you don't enter long trades (the trend is your friend ;) 3️⃣ Most importantly, TROY trades miles away from its downtrend line (3) that goes back to May 2022. Based on these three factors, I don't consider Troy an interesting token to trade right now.
