$500,000 Reward Pool to Attract Top Security Researchers and Sponsors
The Ethereum Foundation has contributed $500,000 to seed the Attackathon's reward pool, encouraging developers and ecosystem projects to participate. The reward pool will compensate researchers and developers for identifying security issues and bugs. Sponsors who contribute to the pool will receive NFTs and recognition on the Sponsorship Leaderboard.
Funds will be deposited into the Attackathon vault on Immunefi, which transparently displays the allocation of program funds and streamlines payments between projects and security researchers. The sponsorship program will close, and the final reward pool will be locked by August 1, 2024.
