JPEG’d, has confirmed that the Curve Finance hacker has returned 5,495 Ether (ETH) worth approximately $10 million. In exchange for returning the stolen funds, the hacker received a 610.6 ETH ($1.1 million) bounty.

Michael Egorov, the founder and CEO of Curve Finance, has revealed that he is selling some of his DeFi positions to pay off his debt. Egorov clarified that he is not leaving Curve Finance or the DeFi space. He said that he will continue to work on improving Curve Finance and supporting other DeFi projects.

Curve Finance is one of the leading DEXes in the DeFi space, with over $10 billion in total value locked (TVL) as of April 1, 2023.

Curve Finance has seen its founder, Michael Egorov, sell a large amount of its native token, CRV. According to a report by The Block, Egorov sold a total of 72 million CRV tokens, worth about $230 million at the time of the sale, to 15 different institutions and investors. Egorov confirmed the sale on Twitter, saying that he wanted to diversify his portfolio and support the long-term growth of Curve Finance.
