What kind of person is most likely to accomplish nothing?
A young man with profound ideas is likely to accomplish nothing (except for outstanding geniuses). This is because their souls are ahead of their years. Please believe this: If you don’t personally practice what you understand, the more truths you understand, the more out of touch and powerless you will be on the road of life.
Many young people begin to think about the meaning of life at an early age. They realize that they are not part of the crowd and can quickly identify the essence from phenomena and grasp certain social patterns. However, the more famous their spiritual halls become, something starts to work against them.
Knowing too much, desiring too much, and fearing too much can lead to increasing disappointment and a greater sense of helplessness. There is also an increased sense of powerlessness and living in shades of gray. The more complex and nested a person's thinking is, the less motivation he has to take action; constantly adding more ideas but less action because every minute involves self-reflection and doubt. Suddenly finding yourself trapped somewhere reflects ideological inferiority, which is a shortcoming of smart people.
If you insist on waiting until all your mental blueprints are mapped out before you take action, then sorry, but newsflash: you won't be able to wait long enough; accustomed to traveling thousands of miles a day and indulging in unbridled fantasies, you'll find yourself facing Reality only leads to long-term pain - a distant eternity with no end, or a maternal embrace urged by ambitious dreams. The more you think about it, the harder it becomes to get started.
I feel like many people around me are like this. They say a lot without experience, and it’s all in vain. Wondering if anyone feels the same way?
