#Testing the DEXE protocol with Carib DAO community
Good news on the horizon.... Carib DAO has started testing the DEXE protocol for on-Chain governance, which will last for about 6-12 months.
With testing DeXe protocol, Carib DAO can execute proposals, obtain information about the functioning of governance on-Chain, understand the preferences of members, use the voting power in a clearer and more transparent way 1 CARIB=1 VOTE and automatically reward its members, for their engagement.
At beggining Carib DAO introduce follow proposals:
1.the Basic project information
2.Enabling community rewards
3.Adding validators
AIRDROP OF 250$
Important:
To encourage community members, Carib DAO will cover the gas fee during this airdrop period that runs until March 30th,2024
How to join:

A First-Hand Account: Testing Dexe Protocol for On-Chain Governance
As a founding-member of Carib DAO, Iâm excited to share that weâve embarked on a journey to test Dexe Protocol ($DEXE ) for on-chain governance, and in the future, semi-autonomous crowdfunding. This initiative, set to last between six to twelve months, is a significant step towards the future of decentralized governance and crowdfunding within our community.
Why Dexe Protocol?
In short, the #DeXeProtocol provides cutting-edge solutions for decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) where proposals, discussions, and execution can occur directly on-chain. We have been deep diving into their docs, audits, and contracts for the past few months and have found that the DeXe Protocol (DeXe DAO Network) is potentially a great foundation to build our proposal system, in-line with our Lite Paper.
Benefits to Carib DAO
By testing the Dexe Protocol, we stand to gain valuable insights into the workings of on-chain governance. This hands-on experience will allow us to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the protocol, enabling us to make informed decisions about our governance structure in the future. The feedback from the community will also provide us with a clearer understanding of our membersâ preferences and concerns, which can be addressed to improve our governance model.
Benefits to Dexe Protocol
On the other hand, Dexe Protocol also stands to benefit from our testing phase. The feedback and data gathered from the test will provide them with real-world insights into how their protocol performs under different conditions. This information can be invaluable in identifying areas for improvement and making necessary adjustments to enhance the protocolâs effectiveness and user-friendliness.

To kickstart this process, weâve posted our first three proposals:

In addition, weâre hosting a competition to incentivize voting and gather feedback from the community.

The top 20 voters will share a $250 BNB and CARIB reward pool. This approach not only encourages active participation but also ensures that the feedback received is comprehensive and representative of our communityâs views.
My Initial Feedback
After voting on all three proposals, I found the process to be easy and straight forward. The gas fees can range from $2 to $5 in total, so try to max your vote with the least amount of transactions in order to save on gas. As always, I suggest using a hot wallet along with Wallet Guard when interacting with any contract.
While weâre not in a partnership or collaboration with Dexe Protocol, it's clear that our independent yet interconnected activities present a mutually beneficial scenario. Through this testing phase, both entities are going to gain valuable insights that can drive their respective growth and evolution.
