About Unifi Protocol DAO (UNFI)
Unifi Protocol DAO is a decentralized finance ecosystem, which is operational as a multi-chain DeFi protocol - running on and between multiple blockchain networks. The protocol, developed in 2018 by a group which began as a multichain staking community on the Ethereum blockchain, seeks to integrate modern technology into global finance by way of decentralization.
Unifi Protocol DAO started its platform by building the uBridge, a multichain bridge where the network token and other assets can be moved seamlessly from one blockchain to another. Shortly after, the Unifi Protocol DAO developed uTrade, a multichain decentralized exchange (DEX), used to swap cryptocurrencies in a completely decentralized environment. In 2020 an AMM was developed and staking as well as “no-stake farming” was introduced to users of the platform.
Future plans laid out by the Unifi Protocol DAO community include its own blockchain and the introduction of more decentralized finance protocols made accessible on its platform. Unifi Protocol DAO is known by its token ticker $UNFI. The current price of UNFI is updated and available real-time on Binance.
