Golden Finance reported that Victory Securities, a local brokerage firm in Hong Kong, announced yesterday the launch of the first regulated virtual asset trading application in the Hong Kong financial market. The company's executive director, Chan Pui-chuen, said that driven by the Web3.0 wave, the development and application of the cryptocurrency market have continued to expand in recent years, driving virtual assets to become another emerging asset class for investors. The bank also found that virtual assets account for an increasing proportion of investors' overall investment. Chan Pui-chuen added that he believed that the SFC would also relax the regulation of virtual asset trading through brokerage firms in the future, allowing brokerage firms to provide services to retail investors. It is expected that the SFC will issue circulars and guidelines to the industry this quarter.
