BYBIT HACK
Massive Bybit hack – a hacker stole 401,346 ETH ($1.5B) from the ByBit cold wallet.
It's one of the biggest crypto hacks ever.
ETH dropped 4% instantly.
$200M stETH was dumped in just 30 minutes.
What happened?
Hackers used a fake UI trick.
Bybit’s wallet signers saw a "normal" address, but in reality, they signed a smart contract change.
This gave hackers full control over the wallet.
All ETH was sent to an unknown address

HACKER ADDRESS
The attack was almost identical to the WazirX ($235M) and Radiant Capital hacks.
Hackers exploited blind signing – tricking the victim into approving a transaction without seeing the real code change.
After that, the wallet no longer needed extra signatures.
Bybit’s CEO confirmed the hack, saying:
- Other cold wallets are safe.
- Withdrawals are working as usual.
However, the fact remains that $1.5B in ETH is gone.
