🔍The U.S. State Department is upping the ante with a whopping $5M reward for info leading to the arrest of OneCoin founder, Ruja Ignatova, who vanished in 2017. This comes after her infamous Ponzi scheme crumbled, leaving investors $4B poorer.💸

The reward, part of the Transnational Organized Crime Rewards Program, is a significant increase from the FBI's initial $250K offer. Ignatova, dubbed the "Cryptoqueen," made it to the FBI's Most Wanted list in 2022.🚨

OneCoin, described as "one of the largest global fraud schemes in history," didn't involve any actual cryptocurrencies. Instead, Ignatova and her team manipulated its perceived value through the automatic generation of new coins.🪙

Ignatova faces charges in the U.S., Germany, India, and her native Bulgaria. Several of her OneCoin associates have already been sentenced to prison.🏛️
