WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT BULLISH/BEARISH RUN CUZ THE CONTEXT MATTERS

People often talk in absolutes like you are either bearish or bullish.

That is not the right way to think about markets imo because all that matters is the context and the setup related to the bearish or bullish bias.

With all markets there are bearish and bullish trends.

By technical definition a bullish trend is when price action makes higher highs (HH) and higher lows (HL) and the inverse for a bearish trend.

But the timeframe context is important...

because a daily timeframe trend could be bullish, but within that daily trend there could be bearish lower timeframe trends (on the 4h, 1h, 15m etc).

This is why context matters.

I could be long term bullish on daily, but take a short term bearish (short) position on 15m...

So if someone asks you in absolutes "are you bullish or bearish"...

you need to establish the context because you could be either or both.

This is what is so toxic about social media... most people have no idea what they're talking about

All that matters is your trade setup.

If you are bullish or bearish, establish the criteria.

Entry, SL, TP.

Is risk managed if SL gets hit?

Is it a good RR trade based on a proven setup?

If yes to the above... great, and irrelevant if it's bullish or bearish imo.

My point here is mainly to remind you to think for yourself as much as possible.

Next time you see your favorite influencer being "bullish" or "bearish"... remember that context matters.

Timeframe, setup criteria and risk management is ultimately what matters.
