🌟 The cryptocurrency #exchange Bybit has seemingly started offering services in mainland #China , even though it’s listed as an excluded jurisdiction.
📰 According to journalist Colin Wu, PRC customers can now verify their accounts with an ID card, passport, driver’s license, or residence permit.
📜 Despite the terms of service stating otherwise, data shows that Chinese users could number in the tens of millions. Most competitors have already opened registration for them.
😨 However, this move has caused some panic among #Bybit ’s employees. The platform also withdrew its license application in Hong Kong after being warned by the local regulator against serving clients from China.
