According to Odaily, on June 1, Frax Finance's X account fell victim to a cyber attack. In an attempt to regain control, Frax Finance's CEO, Sam Kazemian, appealed to his followers to help contact X customer service. Users reported that it took approximately 72 hours for X to address complaints related to the hacked account. While X staff suggested changing passwords during the account leak, Kazemian insisted that the password had not been tampered with. He also stated that no internal issues within Frax Finance could have led to this leak. Instead, he suspects that someone from within X was involved in the incident. Kazemian was quoted saying, 'The Frax Finance X account was invaded, it seems to be an internal work or social engineering event at X, as Frax itself did not reset the password or have other issues.'
