Aptos Blockchain Sets New Daily User Transaction Record, Surpassing Solana

Aptos (APT), the layer-1 blockchain platform developed by former Meta employees, surpassed Solana by recording an astounding 115.4 million transactions on May 25, compared to Solana's 31.7 million. This surge in transaction volume not only set a new benchmark but also exceeded the previous record held by Sui Network by an impressive margin of over 50%.

According to Aptoscan, the platform's user transactions per second (TPS) also reached an all-time high of 32,000 on the same day. The recent spike in transactional activity on Aptos can be attributed to the launch of Tapos Cat, an innovative tap-to-earn game that has gained rapid popularity. Within its first day on the mainnet, the game processed an astonishing 10 million transactions, significantly contributing to the heightened activity on the platform.

Tapos Cat offers users the opportunity to earn $HEART tokens by interacting with a virtual cat through "tickling," resulting in multiple transactions. To encourage participation, the game provides a gas-fee-free experience for the initial 72 hours, allowing players to enjoy the game without incurring any additional costs.

Despite the substantial increase in transaction volume, Aptos has managed to maintain consistent gas fees and success rates. This stability is made possible through the platform's Aggregator feature, which enables the simultaneous processing of multiple transactions, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.
