In the latest documents filed with the court, the US Department of Justice revealed the possibility that they will fight for a maximum prison sentence of 10 years for CZ for violating anti-money laundering requirements instead of just 18 months.
At the same time, we are determined to keep CZ in the US until the court officially pronounces the verdict
Tomorrow, we may know whether CZ will be released on bail, returned to the UAE to await sentencing or not. With pressure from the Ministry of Justice, it is possible that the Judge will issue additional bail conditions and strengthen bail requirements for CZ. Or delay the decision to have more time to consider
And it is expected that on February 23, 2024, we will receive the OFFICIAL verdict for CZ
