I am thrilled to share with you that the blockchain policy framework which I contributed to in July through November 2020 has finally been approved for adoption by the Nigerian government. As part of an adhoc committee set up by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA Nigeria ), I was fortunate to have the opportunity to lend my expertise to this crucial policy development process.
Blockchain technology has the potential to revolutionize many aspects of our lives, and it is vital that we have robust policies in place to ensure that it is used in a safe and responsible manner. The framework that we have developed provides a solid foundation for the Nigerian government to build upon as it seeks to fully embrace the opportunities that blockchain technology presents.
Being part of this process has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I am proud to have played a role in shaping Nigeria's approach to blockchain technology. I believe that the policies we have developed will be instrumental in promoting innovation and growth in the blockchain industry, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact they will have on our society.
