According to Foresight News, the next-generation public Lightning Network protocol, Fiber Network, developed by BTC ecosystem native solution CKB, has released its basic test version for developers to conduct self-testing. This version enables the creation, updating, and closing of channels between two nodes, supports the establishment of any RGB++ Coin channel, and allows cross-chain interoperability with the Bitcoin Lightning Network.
Fiber Network is a next-generation public Lightning Network based on CKB and off-chain channels, offering fast, low-cost, decentralized multi-currency payments and peer-to-peer (P2P) transactions. The Fiber Network official website is now live. The complete test version of the Fiber Network protocol is scheduled for release in mid-September, which will support multi-hop routing and monitoring services.
