According to Odaily, several venture capital firms, previously known for their investments in the crypto industry, are now capitalizing on the trend of artificial intelligence. Notably, Stability.AI has received significant backing from these firms. As per the disclosed information, Lightspeed Ventures and Coatue have invested $2.4 million and $4.9 million respectively. Lightspeed Ventures is known for its investments in Ripple, Solana, and Yuga Labs, while Coatue has backed Chainalysis, CertiK, and Dapper Labs, among other crypto companies. Both of these investment firms have also funded Alchemy, a blockchain infrastructure startup. In addition, Greycroft Partners has invested approximately $20 million.
Stability.AI has reportedly amassed a user base of 270,000 on its Discord platform, where over 400 million images have been created. The platform also allows users to create audio and video content based on prompts.
