According to PANews, VAEX has withdrawn its application for a virtual asset trading platform license from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). The data update on the SFC's official website revealed this development on May 25. The application was submitted under the company name 'Hong Kong VAEXC Limited'.
VAEX had initially submitted its application for the virtual asset trading platform license to the SFC on November 25, 2023. As of now, the SFC has reported that the number of withdrawn and returned applications for virtual asset trading platform licenses stands at 10, with one being returned. The number of applicants still in the process is 18.
