According to BlockBeats, Aya Miyaguchi, the executive director of the Ethereum Foundation, announced on May 24 that the foundation is hastening the formulation of official policies to address potential conflicts of interest. This announcement comes after two Ethereum Foundation researchers disclosed that they had received a 'considerable' amount of token incentives from the EigenLayer project.

Miyaguchi, formerly of Twitter, posted that the neutrality of the Ethereum Foundation is crucial for fulfilling its role within the ecosystem. She stated that relying on culture and personal judgment to handle such issues is insufficient. The work on the official policy has been underway for some time, and the foundation plans to expedite this process and share progress soon.
