According to Foresight News, Fantom Foundation announced that Frax Finance founder Sam Kazemian has become an angel investor in the company. In addition, Frax Finance will deploy its native issuance assets on the first day of the Sonic technology stack launch.
Fantom Foundation previously launched the Fantom Sonic testnet, which includes a brand new virtual machine FVM, improved database storage Carmen, and optimized Lachesis consensus mechanism. The upgrade does not require a hard fork, and existing smart contracts, services, and tools on Fantom Opera are fully compatible with Fantom Sonic. The TPS of Sonic is expected to reach 2000+.
