According to Henry Jim, an ETF Analyst at Research & Strategic Analysis System (RSAS) and BBGIntelligence, Cboe BZX has issued listing circulars for six new Bitcoin ETFs set to list tomorrow, January 11, 2024.
The slated funds include notable names such as Invesco Galaxy Bitcoin ETF ($BTCO), Franklin Bitcoin ETF ($EZBC), ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF ($ARKB), VanEck Bitcoin Trust ($HODL), Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund ($FBTC), and WisdomTree Bitcoin Fund ($BTCW).
While this development demonstrates significant progress, the official green light is still conditional on approvals from other significant exchanges - Nasdaq and NYSE. Furthermore, as per the analyst, the all-important Rule 19b-4 approval notices have not yet appeared on the SEC website, a critical requirement without which actual listing cannot occur.
