Linda Jones, a well-known wealth mentor in the crypto community, recently agreed with a statement suggesting that XRP could make all its holders wealthy. XRP’s performance in the last few months showcases a rise in investor confidence. Even though it experienced a 20% dip from its December peak, XRP has sustained notable growth.

Technical analyst Steph made the original claim. In a tweet, he shared a chart from the analytic platform CryptoQuant to support the argument that “whales are all in on XRP.” He went on to assert that XRP holders “are all going to be rich.”

In response to the sentiment, Jones simply commented, “Yep,” endorsing Steph’s view. It’s worth recalling that she previously indicated that XRP could reach $100 per token, offering current holders a potential upside of about 4,445%.

Social media buzz drives XRP price higher

XRP has been receiving a lot of attention on social media. A recent report from Santiment on Wednesday showed that XRP enjoys more buzz than Bitcoin or Ethereum right now, with people getting more excited about the coin. It appears the attention has translated to pushing the token’s price higher.

Since Trump was elected, XRP has spiked by over 300%. With the new administration, many are optimistic about a better environment for cryptocurrencies. Ripple’s CEO Brad Garlinghouse thinks the new government will end the “regulatory limbo” that has been stopping crypto in the US for many years.

In an X post, the Ripple executive shared that the firm has signed more US-based deals in the last six weeks of 2024 than in the preceding six months, underscoring a significant turnaround in its fortunes sparked by Trump’s victory.

XRP whales are driving significant transactions on Binance

The chart shared by Steph highlights inflows from XRP whales to Binance, the most liquid crypto exchange. It shows a substantial volume of XRP whale transactions with Binance in recent weeks. The trend gained momentum in the last quarter of 2024 and reached an all-time high in the first week of January 2025.

On January 2, whale-to-exchange flow hit 63,968 transactions, the highest seen in recent years. Exchange inflow data further confirmed this, indicating an influx of 2.73 billion XRP to Binance on January 4. However, this massive inflow was counteracted by an outflow of 2.87 billion XRP on the same day.

As of January 9, whale activity to Binance has cooled, with only 3,305 transactions recorded. Regarding XRP quantity, CryptoQuant reported an inflow of just 134 million XRP to the exchange on January 9.

More whale traffic to exchanges is usually a bearish signal because it means that whales are cashing out their assets. But for some reason, Steph decided to go against the grain and saw it as positive, almost as if he expected those whales to keep on working on XRP’s price in the long run.
