Coinage X reported that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Commissioner Hester Peirce tweeted that "when the 3 SEC Commissioners who don’t want to do anything leave, the SEC might allow spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs with redemptions in kind (where the fund manager doesn’t sell the underlying crypto when an investor redeems shares) and staking options for Ether spot ETFs which would make them more useful to investors." Bloomberg ETF specialist Eric Balchunas retweeted the tweet.
