Microsoft identified groups like “Ruby Sleet” and “Sapphire Sleet” targeting industries such as aerospace and tech. Despite some exposure of their tactics, including slip-ups in fake profiles, these campaigns are persistent, with North Korea’s hackers operating globally. Researchers emphasize the need for improved vetting by companies to combat these sophisticated threats.
