According to PANews, Pantera Capital's Bitcoin fund has achieved a remarkable milestone since its inception in 2013, delivering over 1,000-fold returns with a cumulative yield of 131,165%. This achievement underscores the fund's forward-thinking strategy in Bitcoin investments.

Fund manager Dan Morehead reflected on the fund's early days, noting that the team acquired 2% of the world's Bitcoin when prices were at a low point in 2013. He emphasized the significant long-term growth potential of Bitcoin, despite only 5% of global financial wealth currently being invested in blockchain assets. Morehead anticipates that this percentage could increase substantially as regulatory clarity in the United States improves and institutional investors enter the market.

Morehead also projected that Bitcoin could reach a market value of $740,000 per coin in the coming years, suggesting that the blockchain industry's long-term growth will continue to offer substantial returns for investors. He highlighted that, although investing in Bitcoin is fraught with challenges, its potential for asymmetric returns makes it one of the most attractive investment opportunities in the past four decades.
