The Blockchain Association, a group representing cryptocurrency and blockchain businesses in the U.S., has sent a letter to President-elect Donald Trump and Congress outlining five priorities for the first 100 days of Trump’s administration. These priorities include the need for an overhaul of leadership at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Treasury Department, a balanced regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies, and an end to denying crypto companies access to traditional banking.

The letter also calls for the establishment of a crypto advisory council to work with Congress and regulatory watchdogs to develop “smart rules that work.”
