This might sound surprising, but my journey into crypto began when I was just about to turn 15. Let me take you back to where it all started.
I was in 11th grade when I met my friend Imran, a curious guy always eager to learn new things and find ways to make money. Our computer teacher was deeply involved in crypto trading and often shared his insights. Imran decided to take a few lessons from him and quickly learned the basics—when to trade, how to trade, and the risks involved. Like most beginners, he faced losses initially. He borrowed over $100 from his dad, promising to grow it, but ended up losing about $30-$40 in spot trading. Although it wasn’t a significant amount, for a student like him, it felt substantial. He was worried about facing his dad after the loss.
One day, Imran came to me and said, "Hey Emperor (keeping my name private), invest in DOGEcoin—it’s going to skyrocket in the coming years." I thought, why not? I managed to scrape together $30 and decided to buy $DOGE . However, I knew nothing about crypto back then. Instead of holding onto it, I started trading. My balance quickly grew to $43, then $54—I was over the moon. But as you might guess, it didn't last. A few bad trades later, I found myself with just $27, then $23. Realizing I was losing control, I decided to withdraw the money and focus on my studies.
That experience sparked a passion in me. I became obsessed with learning everything I could about crypto. Over time, I gained enough knowledge to feel like I could predict market movements. Now, I’m here with a community of 5.7k followers on Binance Square, sharing insights and helping others achieve their goals. While I haven’t been trading much lately due to a lack of funds, I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science and have some exciting plans ahead.
This was my journey into Binance and the crypto space. What about you?
