The second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume Bybit, has partnered with Aptos, a high-performance Layer-1 blockchain, to launch an exclusive airdrop for Web3 creators and enthusiasts.
The airdrop, hosted on Bybit’s Airdrop Arcade, offers 18,000 APT tokens up for grabs in an initiative that aligns with Bybit’s commitment to fostering innovation and empowering the Web3 community.
The airdrop will feature contributions from prominent projects within the Aptos ecosystem, including Panora Exchange, Balance, Merkle Trade, SuperV Labs, Aries Markets, Amnis Finance, and Guiinu. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with these projects and learn about their unique offerings.

The airdrop comes ahead of a massive $109 million token unlock on the Aptos network, with $38.4 million being unlocked for core contributors, $31 million for the community, nearly $13 million for its Foundation, and $27.2 million for investors, according to Tokenomist data.
The unlock is set to inflate Aptos’ circulating supply and is set to occur on November 11. Aptos, is a scalable Layer-1 blockchain built with the move programming language.
With a total supply of 1 billion tokens, the APT tokens serves multiple purposes within the Aptos ecosystem. It is used to pay network fees, incentivize validators through staking, and empower the community to participate in on-chain governance.
Founded in 2021 by Mo Shaikh and Avery Ching, Aptos Labs draws on the team’s experience with Meta’s Diem blockchain project.
