NVIDIA has introduced a new AI Blueprint that simplifies the development of visual agents for video analysis. This advancement aims to improve productivity and safety in various industries, such as transportation, logistics, and surveillance. The AI Blueprint offers a customizable workflow, combining computer vision and generative AI technologies, and is part of the NVIDIA Metropolis suite of developer tools.

Global systems integrators like Accenture, Dell Technologies, and Lenovo are integrating NVIDIA’s AI Blueprint into their offerings. The blueprint uses vision language models (VLMs) to interpret the physical world and can be configured with NVIDIA NIM microservices and compatible with models like Meta’s Llama 3.1 405B.

These AI agents can alert workers to safety breaches, identify traffic collisions, assess infrastructure conditions, and help with video summarization for visually impaired individuals and sports event recaps.
