Key Insights
Telegram P2Es have blown up in popularity in 2024 particularly.
Some of the most popular picks include Notcoin, Hamster Kombat, Rocky Rabbit, X Empire and more.
These games are perfect for both hardcore gamers and beginners.
Some of these have completed the first launch phase and are expanding into phase two.
Crypto and blockchain have skyrocketed alarmingly over the years.
Interestingly, 2024 saw one of the biggest booms with the intersection of gaming and crypto.
Telegram, one of the largest online messaging platforms in the world, has become a major player in the gaming arena.
We saw the launch of the likes of tap-to-earn games like Notcoin—where players engaged by tapping on a screen:
And got paid with real, actual crypto.
This alone gave the word “tap to earn” a whole new meaning—and the industry is just getting started.
More and more of these games have popped up all over Telegram, and here are seven of the biggest ones to keep an eye on:
Hamster Kombat
Hamster Kombat rapidly became one of the largest Telegram-based crypto games.
In a mere three months after launch, this game amassed a whopping 300 million players worldwide.

The gameplay is simple: The viral clicker game allows players to act as the CEO of crypto exchanges owned by Hamsters.
Players had to tap on the screen, make decisions and purchase in-game cards to accumulate points (also called Profit-per-Hour or PPH).
The game's airdrop was initially scheduled for July but had to be pushed to 26 September.
Even though Hamster Kombat has already completed the first phase of its airdrop, it still has plans for a season 2.
The game’s second season is expected to feature everything from new gameplay features and even collaborations with more TON-based projects.
The game’s developers are on a mission to build a broader game ecosystem and even expand past the Play to Earn model.
Moonbix
This P2E game immerses players in a sci-fi universe.
Here, gamers mine and trade a cryptocurrency of the same name within an app developed by Binance.
Gameplay is relatively straightforward and involves collecting coins and items to earn points in 45-second intervals.

Players simply need to collect items and accumulate scores based on the size, number and quantity of items collected.
They are also ranked based on their position on the leaderboard.
Unlike most other similar Telegram games, MoonBix has no tradeable token.
However, it does host periodic events that allow players to earn rewards.
This game's immersive setting and the thrill of space exploration make it a major must-try for any crypto enthusiast.
Rocky Rabbit
Rocky Rabbit is a fast-paced and adventure-packed game. The game even recently celebrated a 30 million player milestone.
Gameplay within Rocky Rabbit allows players to earn crypto rewards for training virtual rabbits to compete in battles, solve daily puzzles, and complete other tasks.
The rewards within the game come in the form of the platform’s native cryptocurrency, $RBTC.
Unleash your inner champion.

Rocky Rabbit’s development team stated after its 23 September Airdrop that, like Hamster Kombat, the future likely involves a shift from being a simple tap-to-earn game.
Instead, it will evolve to become a full and broader P2E.
Overall the adorable rabbit character and challenging gameplay are some of the major factors that keep players hooked.
Notcoin
Notcoin is a humorous take on the crypto world. It was the first Tap to Earn game on Telegram and set the tone for all the other successful projects that followed.
Since its launch earlier in the year, Notcoin has had over 35 million players, and it involves tapping to accumulate $NOT.

These accumulated tokens eventually launched successfully on 16 May and were supported by several major exchanges including ByBit, Binance and OKX.
Initially launched at $0.01 per $NOT, Notcoin eventually hit the $1.1 billion market cap and went on to become one of the top 100 cryptocurrencies on the market.
After the airdrop in May, Notcoin remains fully active and has even expanded its reach via other projects (like the Lost Dogs game for example).
Moreover, the launch of the Notcoin Explore feature in July 2024 also allowed players to engage with Dapps.
Notcoin is now working around the clock to become a hub—a “Netflix of social and viral games” for gamers and developers.
Catizen
Catizen offers a city-building experience with a twist.
This game boasts over 34 million players engaged in raising and merging virtual cats to earn vKITTY.

vKITTY can then be converted into the platform’s native $CATI tokens.
In the game, players take the role of a caring cat owner, responsible for nurturing and raising these virtual cats.
Players must attend to their cat’s needs and provide things like food, playtime and affection.
Catizen provides a sense of community through these social features. As players progress through the game, they can unlock achievements and earn rewards.
Some of these include new items for cats and access to special features.
X Empire
This game was formerly known as Musk Empire and has exploded in popularity since its launch in 2024 July.
It has accumulated a user base of around 35 million players and allows gamers to build virtual empires while earning crypto.

The upcoming airdrop of its native $X cryptocurrency is closer than ever and is set for Q4 of 2024.
Like Notcoin and Hamster Kombat, points in X Empire are based on metrics like Profit per Hour, total in-game earnings and number of referrals.
The game also successfully introduced first-of-its-king NFT vouchers as part of its pre-market trading phase (which is similar to that of Notcoin).
Looking ahead, the clicker game is focused on more developments post-launch. These include new gameplay modes to keep players hooked, among other things.
ToMarket
ToMarket is another interactive tap-to-earn that features virtual farming.
It also involves gameplay in which players plant and harvest virtual tomatoes to earn $TOMATO tokens.
The game is very similar to the viral "Fruit Ninja" game from the 2010s, which allows players to slice falling tomatoes and boost their token earnings.

Like Hamster Kombat, ToMarket also features daily “combos” or puzzles that unlock hidden rewards, discounts, vouchers and more.
Players maximize their rewards by logging in every day to earn incremental rewards.
They can also complete tasks like following the ToMarket Twitter page and inviting friends.
In Summary
All of these games offer a wide range of experiences from adventure to humor to strategy and even relaxation.
Whether you’re a hardcore gamer or just looking for a fun way to dip your toes into the crypto world—these games have something to offer.
Happy gaming!
