Allegations of Fraud in a Newly Launched Altcoin ⛔⛔

And it's none other than....

SCROLL

According to blockchain analyst Andrew 10 GWEI, multiple addresses linked to Scroll’s founding team allegedly received millions of airdrop points, raising concerns about potential internal manipulation.

The Scroll airdrop has not yet been distributed and it is unclear whether these wallets associated with the team are eligible to receive the airdrop, but speculation is growing.

The analyst’s findings begin with the wallet of Scroll founder haichen.eth, who Arkham Intelligence named as the signatory of the Gnosis Safe “Scroll Fundraise.” Although this wallet did not actively collect tokens, Andrew identified it as the starting point for his 10 GWEI investigation.

🔹Wallet1: Initially funded by the founder’s wallet across various networks, Wallet1 has accumulated 43.5k marks. Arkham Intelligence has tentatively identified it as a Scroll team wallet.

🔹Wallet2: Contains over 1 million marks and was initially funded by Wallet1. This wallet recorded two transactions involving 500,000 USDC in AAVE on February 12.

🔹Wallet3: Again initially funded by the founder's wallet and later by Wallet1 within the Scroll network, it holds 13,000 marks.

🔹Wallet4: A smart contract wallet with a multi-signature setup based on Scroll (distributed by scrup.eth), funded by Wallet1 with around 100 ETH and holding 63.9k marks.

🔹Wallet5: Another multi-signature wallet connected to Wallet4, funded by Wallet1. This wallet contains 35,000 marks.

Andrew 10 GWEI explained that many wallets with over 200,000 marks are likely project wallets associated with various aspects of Scroll’s infrastructure, such as L0, Orbiter, Rhino, Owlto, and Relay. These wallets are used to manage bridge contracts and other core functions.

The airdrop has not yet been distributed, and it remains unclear whether team and project wallets will be eligible for rewards.
