NFT sales in September fell 20% month-on-month, the lowest since 2021
According to CryptoSlam data, Non-Fungible Token (NFT) sales in September 2024 continued to decline quarter-over-quarter, reaching only $296 million, a 20% decrease and the lowest monthly sales since January 2021. Compared to the peak of $1.6 billion in March 2024, this represents an 81% drop. In terms of trading volume, the total number of NFT transactions in September was 4.9 million, down 32% from 7.3 million in August.
