ChatGPT’s Next-Generation Model Expected to Release by Year-End 🤩
At the recent #KDDI Summit, OpenAI’s Japan subsidiary CEO, Tadao Nagasaki, revealed that OpenAI’s next-generation model, codenamed “GPT-Next,” is expected to be 100 times more powerful than the current GPT-4 model and is planned for release later this year.
The significant #improvement in GPT-Next’s performance is attributed to its optimized architecture design and enhanced learning efficiency, rather than relying solely on massive computational resources.
He also disclosed that #OpenAI currently has fewer than 2,000 global employees, with about half focused on AI development. OpenAI’s major clients include Apple, Coca-Cola, and biotech giant Moderna.
