According to Odaily, after the revised data on US non-farm payrolls for March was released, "Fed mouthpiece" Nick Timiraos commented on social media that the data shows US employment growth was not as strong as previously reported each month. Over the 12 months ending in March, the US added 818,000 fewer jobs than previously reported, reducing the average monthly employment increase (previously 246,000) by 68,000 per month, with the specific monthly revisions to be officially published in February 2025. In addition to the total number, this report's revision to the employment level was 0.5%, the largest since 2009.
