A mysterious crypto whale just unloaded another 15,000 ETH, worth a staggering $39.66 million. This marks the latest move in a series of massive ETH transactions since the start of the bull market.
This particular whale is no stranger to making waves. They famously withdrew a whopping 96,639 ETH ($151.42M) from Coinbase during the depths of the 2022 bear market at an average price of $1,567. Holding strong through the crypto winter, they began selling in March 2023 as the market turned bullish, cashing out a total of $176 million in ETH at an average price of $3,199.
With a current ETH balance of 41,639 ETH worth approximately $107 million, this whale has already pocketed a mind-boggling $132 million in profits.
Will this latest dump trigger another market correction? Or is the whale simply taking profits?
