Ion Protocol Raises $4.8M to Launch Nucleus 🔥
#Ion Protocol, a liquidity protocol, has raised an additional $4.8 million, bringing its total funding to $7 million.
The funds will support the development of #Nucleus , a native yield primitive designed to address monetization issues for rollups and appchains.
Nucleus aims to provide users with native yields on ETH, BTC, and USD-backed assets by bridging into networks, enhancing economic incentives for #staking and restaking. It works by sourcing yield from infrastructure products like bridges and oracle networks and reallocating unused borrower liquidity to support seamless liquidity movement across chains.
