**Trump Suggests Bitcoin to Tackle National Debt**
Former President Trump has floated an unconventional idea to address the U.S. government's $35 trillion national debt: using Bitcoin or a "crypto check." In a recent Fox News interview, Trump praised the crypto industry and emphasized the need for America to innovate in digital assets. He hinted that Bitcoin could help settle the national debt, suggesting, "Who knows, maybe we'll pay off our $35 trillion, hand them a little crypto check."
As the U.S. dollar continues to devalue, Bitcoin's price rises, making it an attractive alternative. Senator Cynthia Lummis has also proposed a bill for a Bitcoin strategic reserve, aiming for the U.S. Treasury to hold 5% of Bitcoin's total supply to counteract monetary devaluation.
