Bitcoin's Rally to $62,000 Triggers $26.65 Million Short Squeeze in 4 Hours
After reaching a low of $56,500 on April 30, bitcoin climbed to a peak of $62,109 by Friday, May 3, in response to the previous downturn. This uptick resulted in the liquidation of $26.65 million in bitcoin short positions within just four hours, and approximately 48,962 traders found their positions liquidated over the last day.
according to the 4H time frame this is still the down fall of the #BTC to test the previous support area or further sown to 52k area.

There is a slight bounce off the $61k support area. If we break that we could see a free fall to the next support at $52k. SL is in profit.

What is a bull trap?
Bull traps typically display a long-term downtrend pattern, which leads to a reversal and displays signs of a recovery in order to lure unsuspecting individuals into buying and setting up long positions. Then, the trappers profit by causing the trend to fail after selling off for profit.
We are in a very exciting phase of the market right now with $BTC consolidating around ATH. It is very difficult to predict what any coin will do at these levels, we could see a break up and never look back or some manipulation happen with retailers entering with #FOMO cash and then the whales taking big profits at the same time to shake out weak hands before accumulating at a lower price.
We have just seen a break up from this bull pennant, with a quick rejection back down. This could be a potential bull trap… time will tell.
Keeping an eye on what will happen within the next few days in order to react accordingly. There could be a possible short opportunity if we break down from this pennant.

After the pennant break down we saw a bounce up off support to give us a retest that confirmed the break down.
We have once again dropped down to support and now sitting at a critical level. With a strong 4 hourly candle close around support level this could tank the market if broken again.
Keeping a close eye on this over the next few hours to determine where this will go.
We are looking weak and could see a continuation to the downside. If so, take profits gradually on the way down to $52k.
