Our mission remains the same — we would like to be the on-ramp layer for Web3 massive adoption. Our focus for the year 2023 is to iterate on the fundamentals that have led to our milestone successes, and to better serve the entire Web3 community. Specifically, we would like to

Bring diversified product offerings and enhanced gamified learning experience to global users.

Foster a community where members can share, contribute, and fully utilize their social connections with Hooked’s SocialFi system.

Establish a self-sustainable flywheel-based ecosystem and maximize resource allocation efficiency through bilateral economic engagements.

This article is going to elaborate on our overall product strategy and plan. For specific product milestones and details on each, we are going to release our quarterly product plans at the beginning of each quarter.

Global Market Expansion

We are constantly refining our user acquisition funnels based on the following dataset

With our product launch in Nigeria achieving a milestone success, we are going to increase our presence in Southeast Asia, Latin America, Middle East and Africa. These regions have around 3 billion population collectively, some of them have previous Web3 exposures while others are eager to be part of Web3.

We are confident that with our previous experience and understanding of users in these regions, we will be able to serve the community there and bring them into Web3.

Content and Platform Enrichment

Hooked is now developing diversified and playful contents to give users immersive and inquisitive learning experiences, by providing tailored interactive and gamified platforms and features.

Hooked Content Powerhouse

— Professionally generated content (PGC): professionally generated and curated in-house educational contents distributed through our diversified gamified learning channels, providing Hooked community members with top-notch contents.

— User generated content (UGC): empower UGC contributors with tailored incentive mechanisms and monetization solutions and encourage more Hooked community members to continuously and consistently create UGC educational contents.

Gamified Learning Platforms

— In-house product offerings:

Gamified quiz platform: based on the success of Wild Cash, develop more gamified quiz platforms allowing users to quickly understand basic terminologies and knowledge about Web3;

Knowledge sharing platform: new knowledge-graph-based platforms enabling users to post questions and exchange answers and thoughts.

— Third party platforms: leveraging existing platforms with sizable user bases in the market as well as Hooked’s PGC gamified educational contents and community influencer resources, to achieve efficient distribution and viral spread of Hooked gamified educational contents.

To encourage and guide Web3 newcomers to actively engage in the Hooked ecosystem, Hooked is also adopting an enhanced incentive mechanism by equipping community members with social graph elements and implementing community hierarchy systems across different platforms, in an effort to lay out the foundation for Hooked’s SocialFi system.

SocialFi Innovation

As a Web3 learning and on-ramping platform, contents are fundamental to maintaining a vibrant, sustainable and self-evolving community. Hooked is developing several SocialFi functions and mechanisms to reward members who are actively involved with and contribute to high quality content to foster the Hooked community. These function include

Referral: incentive-driven referral mechanism and user growth engine, enabling Web3-native community influencers to form their social groups by inviting, onboarding and engaging their social connections.

Social group: form social groups led by community influencers who expedite their social group members’ Web3 on-ramping process; provide conditions and solutions for them to effectively manage and monetize their social groups.

Sub-DAO: with the help of social graph elements and the community hierarchy systems, initiate and form sub-DAOs centered around certain Web3 topics where influencers share knowledge with peers, increasing their credibility and prestige, while allowing for better utilization and monetization of community resources.

Hooked DID (Decentralized Identity):

— Hooked community members’ one and only identity bearing community-related credentials for each member, including their expertise, social groups, sub-DAO associations, as well as contributions to the Hooked community;

— Hooked DID also functions as a master Hooked ecosystem login infrastructure, allowing Hooked community members to seamlessly access any platform in the Hooked ecosystem using the same login system, with interactions securely recorded on-chain.

Community Building

Our goal from the start and will continue to be, letting the Hooked community decide where the Hooked’s platform is going and how it will be governed with all the SocialFi functions and solutions made available by Hooked’s innovation. We will start the following community effort in year 2023

Mentorship: identify Web3-native community influencers and empower them with mentorship and leadership skills, transforming them to mentors and leaders of social groups and sub-DAOs, who can work closely with Hooked team to streamline the Web3 on-ramping journey, promote trust and facilitate future governance of Hooked community.

ClassDAO: Web3 knowledge sharing and learning DAO consisting sub-DAOs with well-established governance mechanisms, incentivizing more Hooked community members to commit and thrive to become mentors in ClassDAO and forming a virtuous circle.

By utilizing the increasingly large size of Hooked community and all the above systems and mechanisms, we are fostering and maintaining a self-evolving community with new members on-ramping through massive Web3 adoption and existing members actively engaging and committing, leveraging our SocialFi, mentorship and ClassDAO system.

Ecosystem Formation

To onboard as many users as possible to Web3, we recognize it’s important to enrich our users’ gamified social learning experience, and to extend Hooked influence in the whole Web3 industry. We are going to attempt to achieve these by

Develop fault-resistance Web3 infrastructure: such as DID and built-in wallet, to enable Web3-transformed users to better explore the Hooked ecosystem with minimum learning curve.

Build and empower new products: we plan to initiate in-house new product development efforts based on our data-centric user knowledge and empower new product development projects with our unique and various resources.

Collaborate with Strategic partners: Hooked ecosystem does not just include in-house projects, the Web3 community collectively serves users with different needs and habits. We recognize that we cannot possibly do everything, and thus, we plan to identify projects that share the same mission of making Web3 for everyone to develop strategic partnership with.

With massive Web3 user and business adoption achieved, we plan to provide a Web3 marketplace where community members are connected with applications/businesses, and this is where bilateral economic activities take place. This will contribute to the next-generation business model and long-term sustainability of Hooked ecosystem.
