According to Odaily, privacy-focused social media network MeWe, which operates on the Decentralized Social Networking Protocol (DSNP), has successfully raised $6 million in a Series B funding round. The investment was led by McCourt Global. The newly acquired funds will be allocated towards the further development of artificial intelligence integration and the introduction of new Web3 product features. Additionally, the company plans to use the funds for strategic user acquisition through targeted marketing efforts and the launch of a native token aimed at enhancing user growth, platform engagement, and utility.
