According to PANews, during the 'Growth Hacker Camp' event co-hosted by BeWater and PANews, StepN co-founder Yawn Rong emphasized the enduring significance of NFTs as a 'communication tool' in his speech titled 'Make NFT Great Again: From StepN to StepN GO.' Rong highlighted that the market still requires NFTs due to their inherent social attributes and value. He stressed that StepN aims to enhance user experience by improving NFT design, which can diversify products when integrated effectively. Rong also noted the importance of underlying value in the Web3 industry, which encourages users to engage with products. He explained that transitioning between coins and NFTs involves time investment, such as leveling up StepN shoes from level 0 to 5, which may take a month. NFTs can also serve as a user filtering mechanism, with StepN continuously educating users to standardize behavior and provide unique experiences. StepN has invested significant effort in developing anti-cheating systems to prevent 'tokens' from being allocated to non-contributing users who only sell coins without making purchases. The introduction of activation codes has ensured a daily user growth rate of 0.5%, contributing to a stable economic model. Rong emphasized the need for users to understand and develop interest in Web3 social products to avoid harming the Web3 ecosystem. He advocated for capturing user attention quickly, demonstrating product safety, and simplifying channels, experiences, and processes. Sustainable growth is crucial for social products, as consensus-building requires time, similar to Bitcoin's decade-long consensus development. The second session of the 'BeWater Growth Hacker Camp' was held in Singapore from September 20 to 21. Co-hosted by BeWater and PANews, the event focused on growth strategies and collective intelligence to explore marketing fundamentals. It featured top projects and VC investors who achieved significant growth in the past six months, discussing personal branding, marketing strategies, community culture, organic growth, and Web2 user acquisition and retention.
