According to Foresight News, digital payment company Worldwide Stablecoin Payment Network (WSPN) has announced the appointment of former Visa President John Partridge to its board of directors. This strategic decision aims to expand WSPN's presence in the U.S. market and drive innovation in Web3 payments. WSPN is known for its stablecoin product, Worldwide USD (WUSD), and is dedicated to building a Stablecoin 2.0 payment network.

John Partridge brings over 20 years of extensive experience in the fintech sector. He served as the President of Visa from 2009 to 2013, during which he led the company's historic $19 billion IPO and significantly boosted its global business operations. Under his leadership, Visa saw a substantial increase in transaction processing volume and the implementation of the V.me project. Partridge also serves as the Chairman of fintech company Velo Payments. His expertise is expected to help WSPN advance the application of WUSD stablecoin across various ecosystems and scenarios worldwide.
