Bitcoin fällt, nachdem die USA Silk Road-bezogene BTC im Wert von 240 Millionen Dollar an Coinbase senden
Der Bitcoin-Kurs {{BTC}} fiel am Mittwoch wieder auf 60.000 US-Dollar, nachdem eine der US-Regierung zugeordnete Wallet beschlagnahmte BTC im Wert von etwa 240 Millionen US-Dollar an eine Coinbase-Prime-Adresse überwies, was bei Händlern die Sorge auslöste, dass die digitalen Vermögenswerte wahrscheinlich verkauft werden.
Etwa 3.940 Bitcoin, die ursprünglich von einem Silk-Road-Händler beschlagnahmt worden waren, wurden über das Wallet transferiert, heißt es in einem Social-Media-Post von Arkham Intelligence. „Diese BTC wurden ursprünglich vom Drogenhändler Banmeet Singh beschlagnahmt und im Januar 2024 vor Gericht eingezogen“, heißt es in dem Post.
