According to Odaily, Wormhole token has seen over 53.68 million votes cast in its proxy voting. The top three entities entrusted with voting rights are Blockworks Research, Wormhole Foundation co-founder Dan Reecer, and crypto KOL olimpio.eth.
On June 6, Wormhole announced the launch of Stake For Governance, requiring W token holders to cross-chain their W tokens to EVM chain and 'stake' them for governance. In addition, as a safety feature of the Wormhole Guardian, the daily transfer limit of W tokens from Solana to EVM chain is set at 100 million.
