⚠️ User accounts on the Binance and OKX exchanges were hacked for millions of dollars, reports popular crypto-journalist Colin Wu.
🪙 An OKX client reported that using artificial intelligence, the attackers created a deepfake, changed passwords and 2FA, and stole $2 million from his account.
⚠️ Another Binance user reported the theft of $1 million from his personal account without any security alerts. It turned out that this happened due to the Aggr Trade Google extension for trading. The attackers intercepted the user's session, using cookies to bypass the password and 2FA.
