Another user recently lost $840 in a scam on Binance's P2P platform.
Here's what happened:
The user wanted to sell some Bitcoin using the Binance app's P2P section. They were matched with a buyer, who asked them to release the crypto and stay online for 5 minutes while promising to send the money. But once the user released the crypto, the buyer disappeared, and the user's money vanished too. It was their first time using Binance P2P, and they didn't realize the buyer had a history of scamming others. To avoid such scams:
