• Solana developers intend to fix a TX bug, and a patch will be released on April 15.

The CEO of Helius Labs stated that the problem is the result of "an implementation error, not a design flaw".

#Solana developers have reportedly set an April 15 implementation date for a fix for transaction issues that have plagued the #blockchain network recently.

This comes after Solana's meme coin ecosystem experienced an unusual growth spurt - a peak in the number of memes, such as dogwifhat, helped drive up the price of SOL. But the increase in volume has also affected the network's performance.

In a recent post on Site X, Mert Mumtaz, CEO of Helius Labs, called the recent problems "implementation errors" rather than "design flaws.

"It's important to make this distinction because implementation errors are usually trivial (can be replaced by other implementations), while design errors are usually serious and more fundamental," the Helius Labs CEO said on Site X.

According to Mumtaz, the expected release date for the patch is April 15. However, the patch may be delayed if other issues arise, he added.

Solana is the leading blockchain platform in the emerging #BTC and #NFT ecosystems, with network efficiency and low transaction fees as key features.

However, it has repeatedly faced network performance issues, including failures. Recently, the network had a transaction failure rate of 75%.

That rate has now dropped significantly to 58%, but Solana's developers are still looking for ways to solve the problem.

Solana uses a network protocol called QUIC. Currently, there are some flaws and bugs in the implementation of this protocol," says one of the developers.
